蘑菇视频DSS Appeal 2026: Investing in Security, Enabling 蘑菇视频 Operations
As the United Nations Department of Safety and Security marks its 20th anniversary, the Department is launching its 2026 Appeal, calling on Member States and partners to help sustain and strengthen the 蘑菇视频’s ability to operate safely in increasingly complex environments.
In 2024–2025 alone, 2,387 蘑菇视频 personnel were affected by safety and security incidents, and 180 tragically lost their lives, underscoring the urgent need for continued investment in security.
The 2026 Appeal is requesting US$ 21.84 million to enhance 蘑菇视频DSS’s operational capacity through three critical enablers:
Ensuring Operational Continuity;
Strengthening Security Capabilities;
Driving Digital Innovation in the 蘑菇视频SMS.
With 76 percent of funds directed to field operations, contributions to the Appeal directly strengthen the 蘑菇视频’s ability to stay and deliver, including in contexts such as Sudan and Ukraine to Gaza, Haiti, and Ethiopia.
Reliable security is not optional, it is the foundation that allows the United Nations to deliver hope and assistance to millions around the world.
