Exhibitions organized for the general public at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Headquarters in New York are displayed in the Visitors¡¯ Lobby, located inside the General Assembly building. They feature photographic and multimedia displays covering important topics that the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ works on such as human rights, sustainable development, the environment, women and girls, and more. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Headquarters has an extensive collection of gifts officially donated by Member States, as well as by some foundations and private individuals. The gifts collection includes artwork, historical objects and architectural components. You will discover many of these treasures as you walk through the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Headquarters; although not all are on public display, more gifts are available along the guided tour route. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Bookshop
The is located on the lower level of the General Assembly building and is accessible to all visitors during the official opening hours. It offers books by and about the United Nations and its work, as well as sustainably sourced Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ branded gifts and toys. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Stamps
Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ is the only non-state entity in the world entitled to issue its own postage. feature award-winning design and highlight the wide range of issues on the United Nations¡¯ agenda, from endangered species to world heritage, from peacekeeping to human rights, from autism awareness to outer space, and more. United Nations stamps are issued simultaneously at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ offices in New York, Geneva and Vienna in three denominations: US dollars, Swiss francs, and Euros. They are valid for postage when used on mail from the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ offices in New York, Geneva and Vienna. Visitors Services in New York, Geneva, and Vienna offer a unique and personalized Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ stamp designed to enable visitors to capture the memories of their trip to the United Nations. A special Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ stamp passport is another great gift for friends and family and can be used for free stamping to commemorate the date of your visit to the United Nations. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Gift Shop
The Gift Shop features a modern spacious design that allows customers to browse and shop with ease. The store carries curated collections of merchandise and specialty gift items from around the world, including merchandise from over 193 member states. Visitors can also find a variety of unique gifts featuring the United Nations logos, local New York items, special collections of jewelry, and travel related items in the store. Specialty collections such as the Twisted Guns from the , T-shirts and bottle water with ¡°Women Rights are Human Rights, and ¡°What do you do for Peace?¡± were just a few items developed and only sold at the store. The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Gift Shop is located in the lower level of the General Assembly building.
WFÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵA Kiosk
The WFÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵA kiosk promotes the work of the World Federation of United Nations Associations, a global nonprofit organization representing 100 national United Nations Associations (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵAs) and their thousands of constituents worldwide. Founded on 2 August 1946 by 22 national Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵAs, with the instrumental support of Eleanor Roosevelt, WFÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵA works to strengthen and improve the mission of the United Nations through training programs, events, partnerships, and Model Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ initiatives.
Located in the lower level of the General Assembly building, the kiosk offers an assortment of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ and WFÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵA merchandise, including stationery, artwork, apparel, and postcards, among other items. For more information, please visit the .
Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Women's Guild (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵWG) Gift Shop
Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Women's Guild (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵWG) Gift Shop supports the mission of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵWG, a charitable organization founded in 1948 in New York. Through its fundraising efforts, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵWG contributes to a diverse portfolio of global projects that offer vital support to mothers and children, including access to shelter, education, healthcare, and other essential services. Since the 1960s, the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵWG Gift Shop has served as a key source of funding, helping to sustain and expand these impactful initiatives.
Located in the lower level of the General Assembly building, the kiosk offers an assortment of merchandise, including calendar towels, tote bags, shirts, and hats, among other items. You may also visit the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵWG Gift Shop website .
Technology Museum
When first entering the Visitors Lobby, on the right, under the Ceremonial Stairs, a permanent exhibition has been created which highlights the evolution of communications technology.
Technological milestones that have helped support Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ operations, facilitate peace talks, and inform global communities for the past eight decades are featured in this exhibit for visitors to explore. Visitors can walk through a decade-by-decade timeline highlighting key innovations in Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ technology, accompanied by audio narratives through directional speakers.
The exhibit includes iconic artifacts, such as the original microphone used by U.S. President John F. Kennedy and Cuban Prime Minister Fidel Castro during the Cold War, headphones from the Nuremberg Trials, and the pens used to sign the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Charter, among others.

LACTATION ROOMS
The lactation rooms at United Nations Headquarters provide nursing parents with a quiet, private and comfortable space to collect and express milk.The rooms are easily identifiable through clear signage placed outside the designated rooms. They are well lit and have handwashing facilities and necessary supplies such as a liquid soap dispenser, hand sanitizer, cold storage, a microwave, a diaper changer and paper towels. The rooms also come equipped with comfortable chairs and an ottoman, a full-sized mirror, children¡¯s story books, pillows and a music player to play ambient music.

Delegates Dining Room
Located on the fourth floor of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ¡¯s Conference building, the Delegates Dining Room (DDR) at the United Nations is a flexible state-of-the-art event space. It is an ideal venue for events of varying sizes and scopes. With floor to ceiling windows that provide a unique panoramic view of NY, the DDR boasts one of the largest outdoor terraces in NYC. Its understated elegance permits the DDR to be readily transformed with event decor, furniture and design, depending upon your theme and budget. Meditation Room
The Meditation Room, located on the west side of the public lobby in the United Nations General Assembly Building, is a quiet room dedicated to world peace for peoples of all faiths and religions. Opened in October 1952, it was remodeled and enlarged in 1956. The room was envisioned by Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Secretary-General Dag Hammarskj?ld, and its creation was personally supervised by him. He believed that the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, committed to work and debate in the service of peace, "should have one room dedicated to silence in the outward sense and stillness in the inner sense."
Special gathering for Silent Meditation at the United Nations:
Every Thursday, at 12 pm, visitors, along with Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ diplomats, staff, and NGO representatives are invited to gather at the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Meditation Room in the General Assembly Lobby for 30 minutes of silent meditation. This is intended to promote the global culture of peace, harmony, mindfulness, goodwill, non-violence, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Visitors Caf¨¦
Located in the lower level of the General Assembly building, the Visitors Caf¨¦ serves espresso bar coffee, breakfast pastries, rolls, bagels, hot breakfast sandwiches, flatbreads, paninis, frozen yogurt, grab n¡¯ Go sandwiches, salads, fruits, dessert cakes, pastries, brownies, cookies, gourmet chips, assorted snacks, hot and cold beverages and more. It is open from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
