The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Secretary-General has launched the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Comprehensive Response to COVID-19 to save lives, protect societies, recover better. As part of the response, the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Secretary-General is issuing policy briefs to provide ideas to governments on how to address the consequences of this crisis.
Recover Better Together
The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Secretary-General¡¯s COVID-19 Response and Recovery Trust Fund targets its protection to the poor and the vulnerable and offers innovative solutions that chart a more sustainable, more inclusive future for all.
Women Rise for All
Convened by United Nations Deputy Secretary-General, Amina Mohammed, Rise for All is a global advocacy effort to support the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ roadmap for social and economic recovery from COVID-19, and to fully fund the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Response and Recovery Trust Fund. Women leaders rise in solidarity to save lives and protect livelihoods from COVID-19.
Youth
As a platform for younge people to get involved in the response to the COVID 19 pandemic, this page provides webinar series, virtual events, statements, blogs, videos and other relevant youth-friendly resources.
Disability Inclusion
Persons with disabilities are disproportionately affected by health, social and economic impacts of COVID-19, as outlined by the Secretary-General in his policy brief A Disability-Inclusive Response to COVID-19. To address the challenges and barriers, it is necessary to design and implement disability-inclusive COVID-19 response and recovery, and build more inclusive and accessible societies, in consultation with persons with disabilities.
