The Conference will focus, among others, on the role of civil society worldwide in advocating for a durable and sustainable ceasefire in Gaza and in achieving accountability for Israel\u2019s war crimes in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In <\/span>convening<\/span> this conference, the Committee aims at strengthening partnerships with civil society organizations, <\/span>identifying<\/span> common <\/span>priorities<\/span> and messaging on core<\/span> and <\/span>emerging<\/span> topics, <\/span>discussing the <\/span>responsibility of Member States to prevent and to protect the Palestinian people, and ensuring accountability as a fundamental requirement for the justice that is vital for peace. <\/span>The conference will also aim at <\/span>facilitating<\/span> partnerships among CSOs worldwide working for a just and lasting solution to the question of Palestine.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
