A sustained supply of aid is indispensable to their survival.<\/p>\n<p>International humanitarian law is clear: civilians&#8217; essential needs must be met, including through the unimpeded entry and distribution of humanitarian assistance.<\/p>\n<p>The entry of lifesaving aid must resume immediately. Any further delays will further reverse any progress we have managed to achieve during the ceasefire.<\/p>\n<p>The ceasefire must hold. The parties must fulfill their obligations under international law. Hostages must be released.
