Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA is currently verifying the number of Palestine Refugees among those killed and injured.<\/p>\n<p>Israeli military\u00a0operations into the Gaza Strip intensified over the past 24 hours while Palestinian armed groups continued firing rockets towards Israel.<\/p>\n<p>Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA continues to respond to\u00a0the communities\u2019 needs. The \u00a0essential\u00a0Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA\u00a0services relating to food distribution, health and sanitation services, solid waste transfer to landfills and water wells are ongoing.\u00a0All Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA schools were forced to close.<\/p>\n<p>The current escalation in hostilities\u00a0exacerbates an already severe humanitarian situation for Palestine Refugees in the Gaza Strip, among them many women and children.<\/p>\n<p>Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA calls on all parties to the conflict to\u00a0protect civilians at all times.
