Highlights:
- In the Gaza Strip, approximately 800,000 children ¨C the vast majority ¨C remain displaced, living in unsanitary and overcrowded conditions marked by insects, pests and rodents as well
as a severe lack of privacy. - Responding to shortage of water, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµICEF reached 1 million people with safe water through water trucking, including 470,000 children, during January-March 2026.
- Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµICEF¡¯s Back to Learning response enabled 195,000 children to access safe learning and healing spaces in early 2026.
- In the West Bank, 1,700 Palestinians ¨C including more than 750 children ¨C were displaced by settler violence and access restrictions in the first three months of 2026 alone ¨C already exceeding the total displacement for all of 2025. Over 530 incidents of settler violence incidents were documented ¨C an average of approximately six per day.
- Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµICEF and partners in the West Bank delivered integrated protection and mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) services to 15,012 people, including 7,901 children.
