GRIFFIS APPOINTED DIRECTOR OF
蘑菇视频 RELIEF FOR PALESTINE REFUGEES
The 蘑菇视频 Secretary-General Trygve Lie tonight announced the appointment of Stanton Griffis as Director of the United Nations Relief for Palestine Refugees.
Mr. Griffis is the present United States Ambassador to Egypt.
He is being placed on leave by his Government so that he can take up his duties immediately.
Mr. Griffis has appointed Dr. Bayard Dodge to act as adviser.
Dr. Dodge for 25 years was President of the American University of Beirut.
