The President of the General Assembly, H.E. Ms. Annalena Baerbock, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, H.E. Ms. Oana-Silvia ?oiu on 1 June 2026.
The President of the General Assembly and the Minister of Foreign Affairs discussed threats to international peace and security, including the most recent security incident which occurred in the territory of Romania.
The President of the General Assembly underscored that attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure are prohibited under international law They also discussed the ongoing Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ80 reform initiatives and the selection process of the next Secretary-General.¡±
