Today begins the holy Passover observance \u2013 when the Jewish people around the world gather in celebration of freedom and resilience.<\/p>\n

Passover is a season of rebirth and renewal, the triumph of hope and faith.<\/p>\n

It is also a time of reflection and remembrance.<\/p>\n

The call of Passover is one of unyielding resolve to look beyond the current moment and work decisively, together, for a more peaceful tomorrow.<\/p>\n

I join that call by asking the Jewish people and indeed all People, united as we are in a common bond of humanity, to rededicate ourselves, in earnest, to the cause and mission of peace; for there is no greater promise than the promise of existence and therefore, of life.<\/p>\n

May we all work purposefully to create and to share the promise of peace, prosperity, progress<\/strong>, and sustainability<\/strong> for all, encapsulated in the 2030 Agenda.<\/p>\n

So let us join hands and hearts in promoting a better life \u2013 in larger freedom<\/strong>, for all <\/strong>peoples \u2013 as the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Charter calls upon us to do.<\/p>\n

I extend my best wishes to you all for a successful observance of Passover.<\/p>\n
