Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵITED NATIONS, New York, 5 March 2019<\/i><\/b>\u00a0\u2014<\/i>\u00a0The President of the United Nations General Assembly, Ms. Mar\u00eda Fernanda Espinosa, will hold a press conference on 8 March 2019, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, in New York.<\/p>\n

Ms. Espinosa will outline preparations for the High-Level event\u00a0WomenInPower<\/a>, on 12 March in New York, which will be attended by women Heads of State and Government, representatives of international organisations and civil society.<\/p>\n

The PGA will also report on the work of 73rd<\/sup>\u00a0session of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ General Assembly and will address global developments. \u00a0Opening remarks will be delivered by the President of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ General Assembly, for five minutes, followed by Q&A.<\/p>\n
