Synopsis:
Extrapolations is an anthology miniseries about climate change that was streamed on Apple TV+ in 2023. The series, which includes eight interconnected stories told over 33 years, takes place in the near future and shows how climate change has affected people¡¯s everyday lives.
CCOI's Role:
CCOI provided script advice to the producers and writers of Extrapolations to ensure that the issue and the work of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, including Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Climate Change Conference negotiations, was presented with authenticity and integrity. CCOI also facilitated access for the show¡¯s writers to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ experts and climate scientists on issues addressed in the show, to help ground the show¡¯s storylines in real experiences. The writers also drew on the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change reports in developing storylines.
